Kind Words

"Asher brought a level of depth and instinct that elevated the whole production."

Working with Asher Rose has been one of the absolute joys of my life as a producer. I’ve had the privilege of producing two films involving Asher: You Deserve It, which they acted in, and The Lift, which they conceived of, wrote, and starred in. In both cases, Asher brought a level of depth and instinct that elevated the whole production. As an actor, Asher is compelling, specific, grounded, and absolutely magnetic to watch on stage and screen. As a writer, they have a voice that is sharp, witty and deeply human. I knew immediately after reading their script that I had to produce their work.Working with Asher is never static. There is always a sense of discovery in their work. I am constantly in awe of their performances, and I feel incredibly lucky to collaborate with an artist who brings so much heart, rigor, and originality to everything they do.- Janet McMordie | Actor, Producer

"They took a character I thought I knew, and revitalized them with mystery so astonishing that I was filled with excitement to get to know the character all over again."

"Asher is an extremely gifted artist. They're kindhearted, trustworthy, and always open to a challenge. One of the pleasures of working with Asher was watching them bring a role to life. They took a character I thought I knew, and revitalized them with mystery so astonishing that I was filled with excitement to get to know the character all over again. That is the thrill of collaborating with an actor of Asher's caliber."- Jonathan Brito, writer and director of "A Little Blood Adds Colour"
